The quiz raised £309.50, thanks to the work of Hilda, Pat and Ruth.
B&Q Collection
This had been a very worthwhile event with £475.15 raised over two days (an increase of £90 on last year). Sadly B&Q will no longer be supporting CRUK on a national basis.
Coffee Morning
The coffee morning held at Baxter Gate Baptist Church raised £129.56, with a good number of Christmas cards being sold as well.
Cake Stall
The cake stall raised a record £310.85 (up £90 on last year)
Wymeswold Carol Singers
The Wymeswold Carol Singers collected and donated £1,311 this year. They have been regular supporters of CRUK and over the years have donated in excess of £12,000. Their contribution is very much appreciated.
Two Choirs Concert
This had been a very enjoyable evening with a good, varied programme. The choirs were joined by Alexandra Gamble, a local soprano, who performed a number of accompanied songs. £255 net had been raised and the choir secretaries had intimated that they would like to put on another concert for us next year.
Coffee Morning
The coffee morning held at Baxtergate Baptist Church had raised £147 a worthwhile event.

The Graham Cook Memorial Sponsored Walk
Despite only fifteen walkers taking part, including only five Friends, £628 was raised. Six local residents took part thanks to publicity in the local parish magazine.

Thank you for £475 raised from their Christmas raffle.

Irish Evening
Charity Buffet and Dance with Brendan Shine. Although ticket sales had not gone so well as last year this very enjoyable event helped raise £396.10.
Charity Fair
£155 was raised compared to £86 last year with a lot more people attending.
Cake Stall
On a bitterly cold morning £220 was raised with very little produce left.

Thank you to Christine Greenall and friends from Walton-on-the-Wolds, who took part in the Robin Hood Nottingham Half Marathon and raised £160 in sponsorship.
